Venice

Reaching Venice from Cavallino Treporti is very convenient. Every half hour from the terminal of Punta Sabbioni there is a boat which, after only 40 minutes sailing, docks in Riva degli Schiavoni, in the centre. A few minutes walk away is the Rialto Bridge, the galleries of the Accademia and Piazza San Marco, where you can admire the Basilica, the bell tower and Palazzo Ducale.

Venice: fun for the whole family

Venice is an open-air museum, and every small detail is proof of an ancient and exciting history. Walking through the streets, fields and bridges over the canals, you can admire breathtaking views, and discover the many souls of this magnificent city. Romantic, magical, eclectic, earnest and cheerful, smart and hard-working. Always authentic.

Walking the city is ideal so as not to miss anything, but getting around using the canals, with a water taxi or a steamer that glides through the water, is also a beautiful experience.
For children and teenagers it will be really exciting to discover that in Venice there are no roads and no cars! They will be able to run freely in the streets and play ball.

Art and fun in a unique setting in the world

Venice is a real experience and knows how to capture adults, teens and children. To make the experience of a day in this magical city on the water more pleasant and to better involve the youngsters, you can organise a varied, adventurous and interesting itinerary. The right mix of culture, art, entertainment and relaxation. You'll see that in Venice you'll be really spoiled for choice!
Some ideas? Venture into the Natural History Museum, "get lost" in the Peggy Guggenheim Museum or in the civic museums of Venice and then go to relax in the Gardens of St. Helena or in those of the Biennale. It will also be very nice to get into the heart of the city by touring the fish market or taking a break in the famous bacari and the famous pastry shops. Then you can visit the Santa Maria della Salute and the Dogana de Mar.

Discovering the Venetian artisans

Ideally you want to get off the beaten track and discover the expertise of Venetian artisans. For example, you could see, with you own eyes, how a gondola is made by organizing a guided visit to a "squero" (shipyard). It will be an even more pleasant to fully feel the soul of the city, to come into close contact with people and listen to their stories and discover how these true works of art are made.
Surely the kids would love it too!
