The best way to experience and explore the most beautiful parts of the Cavallino Treporti coast is surely by bike. It is a wonderful opportunity to get to the most hidden and intimate parts of this natural deeply relaxing oasis and to be at one with its untouched nature.

By riding a bike you can admire charming views, focusing on its details, enjoying the smells around you, noticing the changes of colour that take place throughout the day. Let yourself be charmed by birdsong, the rustling of trees swaying in the light breeze coming up from the sea or from the lagoon.

You can go off on an aimless adventure, or use the cycling routes made for you and your family by the Cavallino-Treporti Tourism Park along with Venezia Opportunità, Coldiretti and the Venetian Environmental Tourism Manifest.

Along this route, from the shores lapped by the northern lagoon you get to the mouth of the river Sile and the charming District of Faro Piave Vecchia. The start and end points are in Piazza Santa Maria Elisabetta, where there is a small parish church. The route follows the Casson canal, which connects the lagoon with the river Sile and the Venetian coastline and is an ancient inland waterway. Along this route you can visit the "Cavallino lock", which allowed the regulation of the flow of water through the river course, the typical "balanced houses" on the Sile, large houses on stilts that have arms with fishing nets on, and the Cavallino Lighthouse.

An exciting path that runs along the coast, from Piazza Santa Maria Elisabetta in Cavallino to Punta Sabbioni. Along this route you can enjoy the double soul of the Cavallino-Treporti peninsula: an enchanting land, where the lagoon ecosystem and the marine environment coexist in harmony and embrace the hinterland with its vegetable gardens, greenhouses and fields. Along the route you can also visit some farms and taste the excellent vegetable produce.

The Route "Of the Strong", which starts from the beach of Ca' Savio, leads to the discovery of the coastal fortification systems that were built along the Cavallino-Treporti coast to defend Venice, first during the Austrian rule, then during both World Wars.
A beautiful trip in the countryside, armed with a spirit of adventure and with a good dose of curiosity, will lead to the discovery of the Amalfi, Pisani and San Marco artilleries, the Treporti Fort and Mandracio and Ca' Pasquali barracks.

A charming route that goes from Punta Sabbioni and arrives in the heart of the north lagoon. A route for everyone, on practical and paved paths, except for short stretches. It passes the most ancient villages of the coast, such as Treporti, Lio Piccolo and Le Mesole. A journey full of charm that you will lead you to discover some of the most important parts of the lagoon's history.
It is advisable to take this route in the evening, to admire the bright sunsets on the lagoon of Venice. It is a breath-taking spectacle and the exclusive setting of the Cavallino Treporti Municipality.
